There are also premium (paid) Tap Tap games, which are usually focused on a single artist. Some examples include Coldplay, The Dave Matthews Band, and Lady Gaga.

As of now, Guitar Hero as 4 main games and 4 "expansion games", which center around either a group of music (Smash Hits, Rock the 80's) or a specific band (Aerosmith, Metallica). There are also portable games for mobile phones and the Nintendo DS.

As of now, there are 2 main Tap Tap games (1 is paid for), and 6 premium games, which are usually artist specific (Lady Gaga, Nine Inch Nails, Coldplay, ect.)
